I've got a couple of mates who do Trials. It's crazy what they can on their bikes.
One is a fully sponsored British champ and makes a living doing displays.

You have to pedal backwards or the wheel locks.
Hell the 360 spin down the subway steps was shocking.
The tree spin was unreal

Its just a normal freehub.....he's not pedaling backwards he's just letting it roll back underhim and using his weight to control it.
I ride a bit of trials myself but noting that amazing. He's crossed BMX and trials so fluidly, amazing. I was loving his tailwhips

i used to go down steps on my bike, i tried do it a few years ago and i couldn't. dearn't even go on the first step. kids are fearless, adults aren't.
