So its a estimated figure, Beaches car is more powerful than 349 bhp.
Steve.
The car has always made at least 350bhp every time its been on the rollers.
Well impressed with the torque as its normaly 331 lb/ft so happy with my 350 lb/ft and it was a nice flat line from 3750 to 5250, most cars seemed to spike a good figure then drop back.

As I mentioned earlier in this post, don't forget that as the cooling at PE is dreadfull you will find the power will drop like a lead balloon as rpm rises due to huge heat rise!
As such your torque figures as it first comes on boost shouldnt be too far out but soon after the ACT and ECT's will just rise and rise!
When will tuners with rolling roads sort this issue out! It really frustrates me as people have no idea just how much damage you are doing!!! Just one run on a RR with poor cooling and you can do irreversible damage to your engine!!!! (i.e. excessive temperatures)

Jock, yes I advised the owners of my cars not to run, but said the decision is ultimately up to them, but that huge damage could be done if allowed to over heat.
PE used a single 2.2kw fan today, which is in my opinion 10 times to small for doing power runs.

out of interest Karl, what power fan do you use on your rolling road?

COOOOOLD
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/06...ar/RRGraph.jpg
i got 208bhp with 233lb/ft
it was... erm... a BIT lean tho 15-16:1 on full chat (got leaner as the revs went up) and it sits at just over 15 at idle too.
was advised to clean the AFM with carb clener, so i've done that, and the car felt a fair bit stronger on the drive home
then the "bung" fell out of the exhaust manifold on the way home (you block off where the EGR used to be on the granada) so i drove all the way home with a car that sounded like a spitfire

Regarding ACT's, I didn't watch mine enough to be able to say what they were, but I know for a fact that mine didn't exceed 40°C, which says one of 2 things, either PE's fan is adequate, or the GRS cooler really is the bollocks. Maybe it's a bit of both.
Anyway, mine also alledgedly made peak power at 5900RPM, this I cannot explain, perhaps someone from PE may care to comment. However, these power figures are condusive with another set of power figures that I got last week. I will post both graphs in a mo.......
Incidentally, for those that heard a 'Rumour' about my car making 340bhp on SCA's rollers, that was seriously a case of Chinese whispers. We ran my car 3 times at SCA, once in 4th and twice in 5th. The runs were between 320bhp and 327bhp, with the most believable PAW figure being the 4th gear run, which was 290bhp (320.7bhp at the Flywheel including Correction).
P.S. Freddie Mercury Magic, glad you enjoyed it. Shame it wasn't on road's I know, or better still Brunters!!

I don't like to get involved in arguments but his indicates cronic overheating of either ACT or ECT as I map all my cars with lots of protection, and the only reason for peak power being so low is both ignition retard through high temps and spiralling ACT's.
I would also point out this will be the same for all high boost cars not just tim's so beware, else you'll cook your engine!!!!
