dont think it would be that competetive with the minumun weight @ 1000 kiols

he would have to have lots of balast or be very low power.

my merc will be GT CUP class with no more than 300 bhp at the wheels and 1000 kilos without driver and no fuel on the scales.


chosing the right car wil be haft the battle as if you have 600bhp it will be hard on fuel and you can only start with 110lt max and only full 50 lt ever stop,

so if it drinks the stuff you will be in the pits for stops more than the next guy,

also 600 bhp will be like over 440 at the wheels so must weight 1300 kilos plus

so fast in a straight line but not great round the corners.

Tiff, whats mine is his and whats his is mine (I hope so anyway coz Sona is sooo sexy ) Right now because he has a wife and family and because I have had a few very good years at work I pay for almost everything on the car ( he still comes up with some good freebies though!!! ) BUT and its a huge but, I know that if things were the other way around then he would do 100% do the same for me.
When you are as close as me and Renton are, money and finacial situations are totally and utterly irrelevant!

Mind you he is in my will and he is also the top benefactor behind my mum so if I suddenly die then maybe I got him all wrong and I would definately get Inspector Morse to check him out

porkie mate your sierra being four wheel drive is not able to run in britcars as there rules stand,

you can use a escort cosworth, and a two wheel drive sierra or 4x4 saph

but you can not use a car converted to four wheel drive if it started of as two wheel drive.

how much does the lotus do to the gallon?

the merc is 7 to 8 mpg full race

pit stop every 1hr to be competetive and the car must go 1hr with 50 lts of fuel which is max allowed to put in each stop,

my mates v8 space framed car does 2 to 3 max mpg full race

which means he is doing the v8 series where they dont do pit stops and max 30 minute races

 

Martin! we are running Seans Exige!!! wouldn't dream of using Sierra!

Thats why I spoke about fuel consumption!!!
