Default E-Bay question

I am about to put a load of things on E-bay do you have to enter a postage cost or can you leave it to discuss how the purchaser wants to have it delivered ??

depends what the item is mate.

if you dont put a price in, you get loads of emails saying how much is the postage etc. so annoying

i normally put in about 8 quid. that covers you for quite a heavy item via parcel force

You don't have to give postage costs, but it is best to if you can. People will only ask you loads of times, or it might even put ppl off bidding.

when the postage area is asked for, just put in "Sellers standard rates" then that leaves it open to negotation
