what engine is that in the volvo kinda looks like a vetty engine, ls1 it think ?other cool sleepers rods sierra is pritty must the ultimate sleeper shonkey old white sierra with an old guy (no offence rod) driving kicking the absolute shite out of anything it meets on the road
. The granada with the supercharged ls1 that was at totb, mk3cosworth's from this sites car light blue escort on steelies aa badge and YB, The standard looking micra from scotland in the video section with the 330odd bhp sr20 det in its pritty damn funkey too.

If all goes to plan I'll be picking up a proper sleeper in the UK on thursday: my mate's boughta Smart roadster wich has been fitted with a Hayabusa engine

I saw this sleeper on Scoobynet a while back and thought it was fake. I then saw it at Donnington Renault World Series and at Santa Pod where it managed a 12.3.
Unfortunately my photography skills ain't the best, but here goes.
The engine is an audi and gives out around 340bhp.

this is by far the best one ive seen,....
my mates dad had it a year ago, spent fortunes on it, then totally wrote it off about 3 months after having it,.....
couldnt belive it had this engine in it,..everyone thought he was mental,...but fook me it flew that thing,....

With all due respect, a few people seem to be missing the point: if it's got big arches, big wheels , bonnet vents etc then it ain't a sleeper. loving the volvo.
