I still think you're all wrong. You can't use a word twice can you? Otherwise the thing would be
1 + 5 + 6 + 20 + 22 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 5 + 6 + 22 + etc....
just cos the words TWENTY and TWO are not seperated by a non-number word does not mean you can count then both once as single numbers then combine to make another number does it

i think the answer is 23
My reason for this is Thrush said "one plus five minus six plus twenty two divided by two"
so:.1+5 then -6+22 then 2/2
therfore you have 1+5=6 -6+22=16 2/2=1
Add all the answers up 6+16+1=23

do you add -6 though? cos it says "ONE PLUS FIVE MINUS SIX PLUS TWENTY TWO DIVIDED BY TWO", because minus is a word on there, it doesnt say "-SIX".

Them quuiz shows are a load of fucking shite! 
There was one where it was a blared picture and you had to say who it was and i rang up with the corrrect answer. It took 3 attempts to get through and when i did and said my answer i was cut off. Then 4 days later my answer was said and won.
Twats made 4 days of money and i bet i wasnt the only bastard to have rang up with the correct answer
I think they have fake callers...They never explain the answer to you and they are always trick fuckin shitty questions.
And my dad slapped me across the ear for using over a fiver on the phone
And i've never once seen someone win and then win the bonus... That thing where they guess left and right i 4d. So if they pull it one way its red and one way green me thinks..
And the presenters always come out with cheesey comments

yeah i have thought it's all about roman numerals too but have never got around to working it out. i was watching it all the time at christmas as i was hooked, recently though it's been word up which is just fecking annoying.
as you say though when they give the answer they don't explain it, obviously they don't cos then you'll know the trick but even so it's frustrating. as soon as the correct answer is said the quiz goes off screen. i have taken photos of the screen using my phone before and tried to work it out after the answer has come up but have never cracked it yet.
