Just wondering really was was having this discussion with a friend, how much do they go for... if you find one that is....

 

I've heard of gearbox/transfer box combo's going for £800 plus if you can find them.

The rs20004x4 lot may refuse to sell one to you if you don't have a rs2000 4x4 as i found out a few months ago.

The supposed weakness in the transfer box is mainly due to poor maintenance or incorrect towing.

The gearboxman has recently rebuilt one with a bit of strengthening for a guy who has turbo'd his rs2000.
