Right - it's doing my head in now! How do I remove the manual window winder platic thing form the door of a Mk 5 Escort? I'm trying to take off the door card and it seems that the winder is solid so there's no cap to remove and reveal a screw. It doesn't want to pull off either...!?! Any help...????

their will be some sort of circlip in between the handle and door card, pop it off with a screwdriver.

No probs, hope im right, it's the only way i can think of it to come off if their is no cap with a screw behind
