I've been around since pre '94 and don't remember Ford using any background but blue...

ford changed the size of the ford badge in 94 think thats what he means they
never did them in black prob just rubbed down at the back and sprayed black

He's wrong for a start, they don't make a black one, it's a repo. I got one from some dude in Brazil off the bay....turned out well. I'd say it's worth getting really.

reasonable???

it's a bog standard badge with the back rubbed down to remove the blue and then sprayed black.. takes 20 minutes to do yourself.
