my escort cos is misfiring and banging when it's warm and you go to give it the boot, also rev counter is bouncing.I take it these are the culprits.
measured resistances last nite and the phase sensor is 821ohms , should be between 500 -700 i think, and crank sensor is 654 ohms and it should between 400 -1200 so doe's this mean phase sensor is broke.

 

the rev counter signal comes from the coil doesn't it? may be worth checking too,aswell as the obvious plugs etc.
