the money is good and the conditions seem to be good

serco are taking over the running of the site where i work.
wont be working for them myself as we are contractors. but we went to there site induction meetings and surpose to be very good

i applied for the job way back in october
i didn;t think i was going to hear back from them then i got a
letter yesterday saying that they wanted me to go for an
interview.
i will be working away from home for 7-9 days at a time tho.

well, from my experience with them on the IT side, theyre one of the more cowboy type firms. We've just taken over a few contracts from them, and its shocking how much of a state they've let the systems in. We thought we were bad but they take the mick

the one that made me laugh this week was they was putting in the new secret network along one of the halls the other month and last week we started to paint it out, but there was one hell of a leak there right where they have gone into one of the rooms.
turns out theres a cast iron down pipe from the roof between the walls ( theres an acess panel to get to it,so not hard to guess theres something there
)and the fookers have drill staight threw it and then had the cheeck to run the cables threw it aswell,now you would think you would know when your drilling threw a wall that its hard then nothing because of the gap and then all of a sudden your drilling threw cast iron
