is there a site I can go on and see if I've paid too much tax for the last few years?

yeah there is just found it and I'm owed £122 from about 6 years back

I've ordered an application form from them, I think they charge you a percentage though, might be able to just get it straight off the tax office if you go and see them, if not go through them

 

why cant you request a statment from the tax office for all you ahve paied,,,,,,, seems strange dont you think that you have to prove what you paied,,,,,, when they have it infront of them

i can see the tax office from my window ao il just nip along...been meaning to for ages but never had time

 

I know ginge it sucks, YOU have to prove to THEM that they owe you money or they keep it

 

BUT when they send to a letter saying " fill this in, you could be paying too much tax "


ive never had the guts to do it as i know its always when ive been flush with cash

you've got nothing to lose on that site mate, only tells you if you're entitled to a rebate not if you owe them money, and doesn't go through the Tax Office
