Default Help!! Breakers etc

please help as my car is now off the road until i get a replacement.

i need the coupling for the steering colum to the rack.

the splined end is about 25 mm. its bigger than the 18mm one i had sent to me.

think that one is for a normal sierra without power steering.

anyone please!!

if you'll pay 50 quid then i'd go to ford(if there still available) as there only circa Ł60 new, the 4x4 ones were Ł105 from memory when we bought 1 last year, sure b19 bal or doo will confirm.

that 1 you pictured is same as any late 2wd sierra with power, Ł10 will get 1 from any breakers.

hth

fords there 86 quid i think,,,,,,, though that might be cost,,,,,,,,, only remember as i need one too

wonder if anyones interested in modding a fiesta coupling thats like the 4x4 cossie one in the linkage and welding it to fit the cossie one

reason i say it is the splits in mine made my car react funny on roads with different cambers on and i had a job correcting it at hogh speed, every nob in the car blamed my driving for me drifting lanes too untill i removed the engine and found the problem

get a 2nd hand 4x4 cossie one and have it cut down and welded to size!

ps once done you'll never need to replace it as it will be all metal!

also IIRC a certain vw campervan uses the same as the standard 2 w/d cossie
