How CAN you improve a standard VC cosworth diff???
As it sounds really, would love a ATB in my car but just cant afford it... my diff was re-built/re-bearing'd/sealed recently, but i never checked the LSD which is Handy 
it works but have been told Not anywhere near it should be..... I do have however a box of about 4/5 old LSD's with missing sun/planet gears .... and was thinking can you just put some more plates in it from the other diffs?? So there it is .. CAN I? if not What Can i do?

you cant improve shit - viscous units are just that - shite - and no you can change plates - cause there are non ( ie friction plates) its a case of having the viscosity changes and the fluid pumped back up, makes them even worse than std - ok for standing starts - complete crap for understeer when hot

i just thought they had loads of paper thin plates as i took 1 apart and there was fookin loads of these thin plates in it along with the gloopy stuff just thought about stuffing more into mine and touque'n it up???? apart from that (if it can be done) what the best route to take ....

it has to be pressurised by a specialist - have a chat with bernie at cts, tbh a mild increase to say 200nm/s would be ok for a road car and make quite a decent enough diff - but you will still have the inherant 2 planet gears instead of the normal 4 hence why they break

SO where do i get a 4 planet gear one from???? 
or do i guess id need a 2nd morgage
Looks like its going to have to be a cheap (if they exist) ATB or plated one i think then
