PassionFord Post Whore!!
i did same post awhile back mate.
but for my fiecos, and didn't really get any answer,
so i went out and found out myself.
Std ford 17psi, bailey 19psi but is not the same thread, bayonet caps 10-28si.
i went out a brought a pattern part cap, Then pressure tested all my spare caps, and the new one.
3x old ford caps = starts leaking @ 10psi, All leaked on trackdays and top speed runs.
another ford = 13psi, never run on cossie, as found in spares
another ford = 15psi, fitted on my xr2tt
Pattern part Cap = 17psi, Now fitted and done a full trackday at brands, and mega abuse on the road, And Dont Leak at all.
So just fit a new std cap, and it will do you fine as long as engines in good nick.
