...you disconnect the ground cable from the battery.....

..in a corsa...

...and will i blow up if i dont??

undo the negative cable to the battery (the black one)

nothing will blow up if you do or dont. without it connected the car will have now power with it connected the car will have power.

What do you need to do?


OR is this about something else grounded to the battery

any ideas? im trying to change some bulbs and the instructions say to do this but dont tell me how...

ahh ok, i thought i had to undo a cable that lead to the battery in the car or something

i guess that would make sense...

dont worry about that just change the bulbs and it will be ok............what bulb are you replacing??

errm.. the grotty orange ones.. hehe... dash, lighter, heater etc...

i might jsut not bother then as im not going to be fitting them with the engine on or anything heh

even the professionals were amateurs one day tho... if u have that attitude in life u will never get anywhere.... its not rocket science but if you have never done something before then of course u wont know how to do it.

i understand what youre saying but one day i would like to be able to sort out problems with my car without having to always go to a garage... u have to start somewhere!!

you realise you will probably have to remove the dash to get to the dash bulbs?

yes. but ive got the day and some instructions which i will work it out.... if not then im calling AJ hes warned that if it comes to that its cos the cars in pieces tho!
