All pics sent to dom, about 6-7 i think, inc two not of the car, but still cool
Now its down my him to host them
They look absolutley off the charts, but theres more to em than that.
Awesome handling and brakes as standard, but thas not the best bits.
Ever seen a RS500 T4 come on boost at 2500rpm? I have on an RX7
They create soo much exhaust gas the turbos spin up from nothing, even big old tank one like that, so can run whopping turbos with total reliability.
Its a proper sports car, sit mega low, right on the floor, and so nice to drive.
And the sound is just silly, even lightly tuned ones are popping and banging and flaming all over the shop even at low revs.
Love the RX7 sound at idle too, even standard its "bwaap, bwaap, bwaap, bwaap" like a full bore race engine, but drives smooth as a big V8.
Once the GTR is done and had my fun with it, it will be replaced by a FD RX7 without doubt, awesome motors.
Was shown the way the sequential turbos work on standard cars today, and can see why people bin them off for singles so quick, unbelivably complex, its crazy.
No need either as like said, even massive turbos spin up from nowt on em.
Barring the ton of vac pipes for the sequential setup they sooo easy to work on (IMO) too, piece of piss, which is another big bonus for me as i prefer to do stuff myself if poss.

Look at the bottom pic, the turbo, thats on the matt black drag car, look how big it is compared to that pen i put on it!
The inlet is 6inches wide Rated to about 1500bhp IIRC
Honestly the whole turbo is as big as my head, and ive got a big potato head

The Dragon drag monster is owned by the owner of Dragon, Ross Juniper.
Matt black wide arch thing, plastic windows, big slicks, crazy thing, love it.

Guy in our club here bought his black RX7 last night to a meet. Very nice cars. Took a red one for a test drive 3 years ago but even then in late 2002, a 1997 one was commanding big $$. Personally prefer the skyline to the RX7 but definately wouldnt turn one down
