im buying an 1800 zetec bottom end next month hopefully which is almost ready to go but i was just wondering if there is any work that needs doing 2 the head and can i use an rst head gasket aswell

yes you can use the cvh gasket. i use a 1.9cvh gasket on my 2.0 zvh.

if you go for the zetec gasket or head will need extra bits welding to it

sweet,well if you do have it i have a head gasket set here u can have free! full head set not just head gasket!

does anybody know what other parts needed for the conversion 2000 zvh

i have a 2ooo ztech complete
i have a 1600 cvh efi xr3i engine
and the manifolds for the turbo ect

do i need anymore please help

sump and oil pick up from a 1.8 zetec escort
then u need to modify one of the engine mounts
block needs all the extra oil ways etc welding,or a plate from mad for it.

standard gasket 1.6cvh 81mm bore 2.0zvh 85mm bore have to use felpro or weld the cvh head to support zetec head gasket.
