Default Help please!!!

I am having a bit of difficulty with my new Rear antiroll bar polybushes! The brackets are a bit shorter than the bush ( I can understand this fine! ) but when I slip the small locating lug into the floor and then try and tighten the bolt the lug keeps popping out!!

All you guys that have done this is there any easier way a hint to try and make it easier to fit them???

Please Please help!!

The bushes are the right size for the antiroll bar! as it fits quit snuggly round the antiroll bar! but must admit I have my doubts about the size but it does need to be tight round there!!

Nick,
Is this on the black one?
Is it all still 2WD stuff that your running there or have you fitted the 4X4 back end?
Its just a stab in the dark but there might be a difference with the brackets between both antiroll bars i.e a longer lug on it or slightly bigger Dunno

Speak soon

Paul.

Hi Paul it is still the 2 wd back end that is fitted so should not be to much problem or so I thought!! I know the bushes are slightly bigger to allow squeezing etc but this is just beyond funny now! will be at them for weeks the way it was yesterday! have you stripped the escos yet?

Nick,

Escort has been inspected and its gooooooood news The shaft is fine so its the top end thats going to need the most work. Looks like the oil starved the turbo and cams so they will need replaced along with the head. Not to bad i thought considering i was sitting around 80 when the light came on
Should be up and running in the next couple of months just in time for the Track days to kick off
