I'm actually an autoglym dealer and will say this: Autoglym does NOT produce the same gloss as gold class.

same here
I want to try that new one, Ultra Deep shine. I did buy Meguirs but found it harder work than autoglym and didn't get the results i was expecting for such an expensive polish

Auto glym usually, but before a show it gets a layer or two of Zymol.
A friend of mine gets me it cheap because he works at a porsche garage.

The problem with Autoglym is that its Chalk based, whereas Meguiars isn’t. That’s why you get the dusting. I recently switched to Meguiars Polish (from the 3 step range) and its pretty good. Im not really into polishing, but at least its easy to use. I also used a Clay Bar, which I recommend.
However, if you really want to push the boat out I recommend “Zaino” products. Not the cheapest of products but look at the results of 1 day. (The guy who did it said he wanted to do another 2 days to get it perfect!!!) (not my car btw)
Before.
Swirl marks and crappy surface.
After!

Merr wheel polish on all bodywork, cleans off easy and leaves this shine!
Try it, you wont be disapointed, and yes do your wheels with it aswell.
