Default Giving "Asylum Seekers" £3000 each to go home...

I can barely contain my rage having read this.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article...983132,00.html

I remember some years back I was unemployed, it was a battle to get unemployment benefit, then my housing benefit was refused because my rent was deemed "excessive", getting no help with my credit card bills and other debts, selling everything I owned just to stay afloat.

I went days with no electricity, days without food, days without heating and hot water. All this after myself and my family had paid untold amounts into the welfare system of the country.

And the Asylum Seekers are getting thousands for doing nothing??? Fucking outrageous.

Typical of this government, though, without the guts to risk offending the PC brigade by just kicking them out when the countries they left to come here are deemed "safe to return to"

Not that most of them should have even been let in, in the first place, since asylum seekers are supposed to request asylum in the first neutral country they come to......they all come here, because the UK's government has such a friendly attitude to asylum seekers, while screwing its own citizens into poverty.

If I really spoke my mind about this I'd probably be breaking laws, so I'll not say it here.

they think it will save money in the long run,but what's stopping them from returning under another name? TB knows this is a hot topic with voters,so as usual he is making yet another quick fix law,to try to keep the voters happy. l

Statistically, ie. the majority of "asylum seekers" in Britain, it means someone who is lazy and dishonest, or possibly a fugitive in their own country.

The tiny minority of "genuine asylum seekers", assuming that there even ARE any in Britain at present, ought to have stopped at the nearest safe country, and that cannot possibly be Britain so let's forget about them.

I think you will find that this happens not just with Asslyum seekers though. Can you just do this.... can you take a look at this etc........ is common practice everywhere.

This is for illegal immigrants aswell, you did read that part?

So you agree with the government not doing their job properly, and letting the country be over-run with illegal immigrants, and then resigning themselves to using hard-earned tax-payer money (that should be spent on Uk residents, services, etc) to fund politely asking people who shouldn't even be here in the first place to "leave, please, if it's not an inconvenience", because they don't want to offend the PC brigade.

Sorry, but my opinion is that the army should march the fcukers into the sea at gunpoint, and make them swim their way back to bloody France or whichever country they jumped in a boat/truck/whatever to get here in!

Right, I'm sorry I don't know the circumstances of genunine asylulm seekers (to which the above says nearest neutral country, which is not Britain is it?) BUT it seems the government lets any fuckers in, doesn't know how many there are or where they are - and the fact as above, they give these people housing, benefits, shopping vouchers that are redeemable against alcohol and tobacco, they don't get employment (why would they) and generally a free ride - but where is the help when born British who have worked and paid into the social security?

What other Countries let people in to live off endless handouts? We scrimp and save and do things the 'right' way and end up worse off with no help from the government at all

I dont care if i get in to trouble, fcuk them, send them all back, every one of them.
Let France or some other country have them, pay for them, feed them cloth them, what ever.... instead of draining the British peoples pocket.

Genuine asylum seekers should indeed be made welcome, just like they were when fleeing the nazis in the 30s etc.

The difficult job is weeding out the ones coming here for purely economic reasons.

I think handing out 3K of my taxes to one of the illegal ones sucks, but i think spending 11K of my money on removing one involunteerily sucks even more.

fucks knows what the answer is, but i know for certain its not to round up everyone who isnt white and march them into the sea, cause i would lose a lot of good friends that way!

Well said

It really annoys me when people make such sweeping statements about immigrants and asylum seekers etc. and some of the suggestions people come out with for "dealing with them".

Nothing is ever as simple as people make out!

What makes me laugh is how people think that by wanting to live in a country with a decent chance of earning a living people are doing something wrong.

Some countries are privledged, others are not, i realise its only luck that meant i happen to come from a family born in one of the better countries, if i was born in iraq or somewhere, i would want to move to here or america or whatever too, who the fuck wouldnt?

guys, think of this...

it costs us 10k to deport them

so giving them 3k to leave of their own free will SAVES us money.

also it doesnt apply to anyone applying for asylum after december (after this was announced) so it means that none of them could have applied JUSt for the payout (as they didnt know it existed)

its a good response to a failing system. NOT a bad response to a good system

Hardly fair on those countries within the EU that happen to share a border with the "dodgier" countries of the world.

WE in britain chose to become part of the EU for economic reasons, our government did this knowing the implications of doing so in terms of our borders and EU rules concerning them.

If we werent seeking financial asylum within europe ourselves we wouldnt have this issue.

Its not as one sided as people think!

Quoted me slightly out of context dude. The point I make is that genuine asylum seekers should seek the nearest country that is neutral to their particular problem. . It's funny how we seem to end up with a lot of them when especially as countries like france actually actively organise to send them over here, and dont claim that they dont because i've seen it with my own eyes and deal with non uk residents attempting to gain basic skills training every day I work. U can easily sort the wheat from the chaff as to who are genuine work seekers and those who are in for a meal ticket

So some of them are genuinely here to work?

You mean that all non whites arent all just parasitic scum trying to live off my taxes with no pride or sense of worth?

What you mean that some are good and some are bad?

Like white people?
