Dodge beats a veyron already and much cheaper too.
Got to be one of the best looking cars ever.

At the end of the day it is just another modded car that a tuner is selling ready modified. Not a production car like the Veyron.
If you have the money there are plenty of modified 'things' you can buy to go faster than 255mph.

Make that 2 dv's!!! Its not as good as the veyron, the amount of work that went into making the 7speed gearbox fit inside such a small space alone must have been a real headache!!

The Veyron is quicker 0-60 too (2.5 secs)
I'd still rather have a Veyron than a Dodgey Viper due to the fact thats its built by VW so no reliabilty factors or dodgy build quality - it has 2 V8's bolted together with 4 turbo's and 10 radiators!
If your gonna buy an outrageous car you might as well buy the one thats the most outrageous!

I heard on Top Gear that the Veyron is limited to 250mph which would indicate that it could go faster. Veyron is the best IMO just because of how much work has gone into it even though there going to lose money making it. And it looks better

Awesome car.
No reason to not believe that top speed if they have done the gearing correctly.
A feckin 3litre Nissan 300ZX was timed at 260MPH back in 1990 FFS...
Theres turbo'd road going vipers, mustangs, allsorts, with a lot more power than that too.

As it's already been said there's loads of yank muscle old and new that has that sort of power and the ability to run those speeds. Plenty of road going muscle car's that have the ability to go arse over tit wheelying off the line.
