When you say by "amped", do you mean ......

A) Has ignition amplifiers in the coilpack itself.

B) Has an EDIS ignition module in the engine bay.

C) Has ignition amplifiers in the ECU.


Depends on the age/type of the car/engine/managment but is deffo not A

ive got a mate who is running a st170 coil pack on hi vauxhall engine and is running go-tech mangement.

His coil pack is playing up and needs a new one but says it has to un-amped or could blow his ecu.

This all the info i have sorry peeps
