Came out the house this morning to go to college, some cunt had smashed the back window of my car and opened the doors up. Socket set & screwdriver set (all well hidden under the seats), spare steering wheel and the face of my CD player all gone.

Fucking fuming here, when (notice WHEN, not IF, coz ill get the cunts) I get hold of them I’ll take more than a fuckin ratchet handle to their head. Thing is though, it musta been somebody who knew the tools were there, as they were well hidden

Went to remove any other loose bits from the car earlier ...found a trace of blood on the handbrake cover,maybe where the thief cut his hand when breaking the window. Police came and collected it to send off to forensics this afternoon maybe can be traced to a known local criminal

bit harsh innit, no one asks for things to be taken, and if there hidden then all seems well, i do think that no one asks for it or can take the blame for their property being THIEFED BY SCUM!

Its just wrong, but it seems to be happening everywhere now, just feel sorry for the people with all the sat nav systems and the dvd screens etc, all that equipment gone in a flash!!! !

Tools were well hidden under the seat AND NOT ON SHOW (would have been in the boot but I have a trolley jack, radiator, a weeks worth of shopping & a load of antifreeze in there so there isnt exactly room ) and the cd fascia was in a door pocket; the ONLY visible thing was a steering wheel in the passenger footwell, an atlas on the back shelf & a glasses case near the gearknob. Only thing I can think of was somebody has seen me stuffing the socket set back under the seat after use and has decided they want it. No different to putting it in the boot of a hatchback and having somebody smash the back window, remove the parcelshelf and then taking the gear IMO

This cars been a nightmare since day 1; next thing to happen to it and i'll torch the bastard

Fortunatly the only window broken was a rear quarter window on the back door so is an easy & cheap repair, no fannying about with electric window motors etc

To be fair that's a very relevant point mate, any thief with any ounce of sense is automatically gonna look under seats and in glovebox's/door pockets etc..

To be fair; IF i'd openly left the tools on show, (e.g. laid out on one of the seats) then I would take trevs comment as it would have been my fault. The fact is, I shoved them under the seat as I believe in never leaving that kinda thing on show and didn't want to shove them in the garage coz im a lazy tw@ and didn't want to have to go drag them back out to change my steering wheel today (which incidentally I have no chance of doing now coz I have no sockets )

TBH as a 17yr old student this is the last thing I need. Insurance is a rip-off as it is without me putting in a claim because of these fucking thieving bastards
