Default Anyone good with jpeg problems on PC ?

Evenin all.

Bit of a strange one, the buyer of my old car sent me some JPEG File pics of the car in a winzip zipfile the other day. Problem is when i go to open them.

I extracted them from the zipfile into a folder, and used windows explorer to get to the folder, now when i click on the pic ONCE it shows me a thumbnail of it on the left as usual, and i can see the whole small version of the selected pic.

BUT when i double click the file to open it up full size, it opens, and halfway down the picture on the screen its grey and theres only the tophalf of the pic visible.

Anyone got any idea why i can see the whole thumbnail of the pic clear as day, but only the tophalf of the pic when i open it up ?

Well annoyed as i wanna see what nick my old car is in !!

Michael

Sounds like the file is corrupted, but the small data for the thumbnail is fine....

You could try right clicking the icon and selecting OPEN WITH and select PAINT, then if it opens fine, re-save it
