Ski-ings easy mate dont worry about it, if you have ever done ice skating you pick up the fundamentals from that turning stopping ect strangly similar theres 1 of those snow domes opening up neer me in renfrew they any good then I've never been to 1?

 

I self taught myself over a few visits to the Lecht (prob doing everything wrong).

Had a high speed crash once, coming down the hill (prob aboot 40mph), when a kid came out in front of me (donno if he thought it was a street or something), so I tried to manover round him, but lost complete control and went in a huge roll!!!

Came away untouched, but my glasses went flying and got bent totally out of shape and I lost the nose bits. This was only at 11am, so a quick bend back of the glasses and trusty black tape and I was away on the slopes again.
Never got a hold of that little s@@t, but couldn't see past my nose withouth my glasses! lol!

Best to get the lessons, so they can lay down the basics, unlike me!
