Paypal - Does this sound fishy?
Sold a PDA on ebay yesterday, sent winning bidder an invoice, and received the payment this morning in my paypal account.
The buyer is verified by paypal, postal address is unconfirmed (no biggie, is in UK), his email address is a xxxxxxxx@yahoo.co.in (india), but he has also attached this note:
Am I right in thinking that items have to be posted to address attached to the PayPal account, to qualify for any kind of protection?
Although it does say at the top that I am "Ineligible" for the "Seller protection policy".
Should I be concerned, should I email the @yahoo.co.in address for verification?
Thanks in advance people!

Hi mate, I have made the payment through PAYPAL. I'm sending it as a gift. So please post to (another UK address). Thank u. Cheers. Have a nice weekend.

Yes, very. Paypal is SHIT for sellers - the buyer can easily claim they havent received the goods, and u get ur account debited. Happened to me with a laptop, even though infront of me i have signed proof that the guy got it!

Personally anything dodgy I'd walk away.
At the minimum I'd go get a rec. del. slip from the post office.
Tell him you've sent it giving him the rec. del. number and sit on the package for a few days, see what happens.

Looking into it a bit further.....
they have 5 feedback on ebay, one of which from a mobile phone place, and the address they want the pda sending to is only 2.2miles from where they are situated.
Not looking quite as fishy now....

HOW can they reverse it?
I can refund from my end, but from stuff Ive paid for before, its not an option to "retrieve money" or every coont would be doing it
