Default Outlook express emails help :)

Morning

Right just bought a new hard drive and installed it and set everything up on it
It now the C drive

What was the C drive is now the D drive, just as it was all intact, all files etc, what im after is accessing my old emails on that drive from say outlook express in my new install, if not just some way to save them and make them readable.

Ye like a twat didnt bother saving them as files b4 fitting the new drive, could just plug the old drive back in again and then save em but that involves getting into the pc again (not exactly conveniently located )

its a right pain in the arse to do with OE. you have to export the lot then re-import the lot.

you might be able to just open up the data file on the other drive tho (cant remember if this works or not)

its been SOOOOO long since i used OE tho i cant really remember.

Woo hoo

As i said plus identities \ then some long number \ microsoft \ outlook express

Actually dead easy once u know that folder, just gives u a list of all the "old" folders u had and then imprts them straight into the same in the new OE even if that folder doesnt yet exist (bout four steps)
