apparently its easy! my mum just gave up out of the blue a few months back. she said the key its actually wanting to do it 100%. tried numerous times before but wasnt committed. getting older and the health issues were a big deciding factor!

Look at all the shite the companys put in their fags these days, the one thing that stopped me smoking, wasn't the cash side of things, it was the fact that I was letting some rich company poison me and I was also paying them to do it
Found out today my old man smokes about 40-50 fags a day

11 months without them for me (30 a day smoker) and i found the only way to quit was a few months before start convincing myself that i would do it so 31st jan last year i had my last one
You have to be in the right frame of mind to do it if your not 100% confident that you can then you wont its as simple as that!!!!
After only 11 months i know i will never smoke again, the thing that opened my eyes the most was the smell after a month or so when i got my sense of smell back i couldnt beleive how bad it actually smells, like now for instance my father in law comes round and he's a 60 a day smoker and he fuckin stinks of smoke so much so that i can smell it on the furniture after he's gone
Oh and just wait till your taste buds wake up roll on the fuckin pounds man ive gone from a 32 waist to a 38 and im about to start a diet for the 1st time in my life
And lastly for all the smokers out there YOU STINK

Mr.Manchester, going cold turkey almost guarantees that you'll fail, trust me. I stopped over a year ago with Allan Carrs book and it was one of the easiest things I ever did, honestly.
If you want my advice, start smoking again and go get the book. This way you'll stop smoking the easy way.

i stoppped pretty much 1yr ago to the day, after reading allen carrs book.
felt ill, sick, etc and one part of my head was hurting.
still, everytime i had a REAL bad craving, I fought it and found that after say 2-3 mins it had gone anyway.
then the cravings got further and further apart, till none at all.
it'll be the best thing people do
Good luck, all!

Its an addiction you need to die, you are NOT dependant on poisonous chemicals to exist, you have just become addicted to them.
Think of the "Craving" as a Germ in your body, one thats alive but starving... that "Technically" is exactly what it actually is, the craving is the germ dying. If you feed it, you prolong its life...
When you crave just say "Die you little fooker"
This is the basis of the Allen Carr book, buy it now... worked for more people than any other method known to man. Proven.

Heres another reason to give in
Me and the wife had been trying for a child for 11 years with no success, We were booked in for IVF treatment last christmas and chatting to the dr's about it they advised me to give up smoking as every thing helps..... So i jacked in in Jan (possibly the most dificult thing i have ever had to do) but 1 month later the wife got caught pregnant WITHOUT having the IVF treatment so call it coincidence but i reckon giving helped us

STU - HOW TRUE IS THAT!!!
For those interested, I have the whole book in .txt format (although the book is MUCH easier to read), and I have the 4 audio MP3 files that you should listen to ONLY after reading the aforementioned.
KILL THAT GERM THAT WANTS YOU TO SMOKE!!!!!

You look like a prick walking down the road smoking ha ha he's adicted to that stupid stick ,
Will that make any diff NO
Now think about it you give the Government all that tax this alone should make you give up
