Yes mate, had most of my Tattoo's done when i was 16 and 18. Thought it would be kool but now i totally regret them, im not very comfortable talking to people with my tattoos showing. if your gonna get one done. think long and HARRRRD about it, not like me, just picked and got it done

I'm getting two done soon, one on each upper arm, tribal type designs. Noticeable, however can easiy be covered up with a long sleeved shirt if i'm going to something formal where they wouldn't be suitable to be displayed

Ive so far managed to go without...simply for the reason I see what my mates have got drawn on them for the rest of their lifes & how they now feel like proper tools!!

My mate got his 1st name written in HUGE old english, The way its been done you read it the other way from him - saddly his name's Aaron so I now call him Nora yes he feels like a wally & hides it whenever possible

IMO the whole arguement about ''regreting'' tattoo's is all well and good but personally it's all part of the journey that is life I've got a HUGE tribal sleeve going from shoulder to wrist which at times in certain circles I'm not in a hurry to show. However, I am self employed so being my own boss I don't have the issues of senior figures etc that could ''take a view''

Like I said IMO far better to look at an old tattoo when you're 70 and remember good times in your youth rather than the what ifs etc.

I wouldnt knock anyone for getting a tattoo, thats their choice! However the lack of thought behind some of the ones Ive seen amaze me!!

Ive seen it all, from tazmanian devils to the grim reaper on full size of someones back.....cant wait to see them when im 70

Even these tribal & chinese ones - unless your actually chinese or in a mauri tribe or something, dont bother!!

absolutely mate - same as me! for some unkown reason i really wanted the black oasis label on my arm when i was 15. would have been a big mistake in hindsight!!

Exactly. So many people have Chinese symbols, but can't speak a word of Chinese and are actually proud to be English. Same with the Celtic bands, probably 2/3rds of the people with them have no celtic blood at all. Mate of mine has "Made in England" and a St Georges cross though. At least its in a language he can speak. Anothers got his nickname on his arm.

Tats should be personal and crucially ORIGINAL IMO.

Theres a couple of good places in Reading Alan ... I got mine done in Weymouth as they got a pretty good reputation My m8 across the road cousin does them as well ..cheap and good but hes a nightmare to get hold of ...
