Whats the weight of a CDS multipoint weld in roll cage?

Default Whats the weight of a CDS multipoint weld in roll cage?

anyone an idea of the sort of weight a CDS multipoint cage will weigh?

obviously this is only going to be rough as they're all slightly different, im just trying to get a rough weight of my RS in my head.

allow approx 60kg, bolt in will be heavier than weld in as you need double the foot plates+bolts + welded brkts to make it bolt together, also dependant on how many points the cage is. by using a T45 or Cro-moly cage you see 3rd weight saving.

nearly. lol. depands how serious you are about your car, I put a CDS cage in my saph when I done it and after a couple of years racing it and it running perfect numbers i wanted weight out of it to free up more more, this is when I wanted a cro-moly cage in it might even still do and cut the other one out.
