Cold spell - knackered head unit? - FIXED
just jumped in the car to bring her home and the headunit isn't working...
Anyone know if the cold spell could have bolloxed it? Its a Kenwood Mask, the face turns over but the display doesn't light up at all...
It was working fine about a week ago, now nothing
I really don't need this to be dead as well

Could be condensation in the unit caused by the cold I've had it happen to me years ago in an old mk1 astra but just put it down to the fact it was an old banger that had bodywork like a sieve

My Kenwood head unit did this to me today as well - I took the face off and put it back on again and it was fine. I just put it down to cold/condensation.
Try running the heater blowers on full whack and take it for a drive around - would save having to arse about taking it out and resetting it again.
Cheers,
Andy
