If you know what you want then type it into google ..usually comes up with some great deals ..if not then just type plasma screens in there and then take your pic ...

Plasma have a shelf life and be past it by the time HD comes along

LCD all the way for the best picture and life and be able to watch MTV base all day without burning the screen with the logo

I am still on rear projection not a bad picture...waiting for LCD to hit 50inch minimum at a good price to coincide with HD TV Its funny i gone from 20inch to 32 inch to 42in now to 50in min..fuck knows how big the one after the next 2 is gonna be

Tempted by the HD ready LCD/rear pro 50in from Sony at only 1300 quid at the mo the thing is when HD comes and any HDTV can picture it surely it wont matter WHAT style TV you have LCD/Plasma/Rear Pro/CRT?

Phil,

Yes.... APPARENTLY Plasma's do discharge over time. But no one has had one long enough to actually conclude that. How long have plasma's been available?

LCD's are better than plasma's! According to some other geeky eyed bod, who can tell you 10,000 different things between a 4.8mp digital camera and a 5mp digital camera? Please keep with reality.

When you have one of these screens and sit 9-10ft+ away from it, you're stevie wonder eyesight wouldt be able to tell diddle squat...... oh yeah, apart from the fact that blacks on a plasma look much better then the blacks on a LCD (or should I say washed out greys).

Whether your post is finite correct or not, doesnt matter, what does matter is what 95% of people find acceptable and notice.

Please practice what you preach...... Keep it Real!

P.S. Someone that slags off plasma's, but is still using stoneage techology like rear projection.... Love it!!!
