Cheap MP3 in-car headunits
mate has just got one of these :

RDS radio, CD, CD_MP3, USB_MP3, SD car_MP3...
Pre-outs + sub, and Aux-in.
For £75 it does just what it says n the box, very impressive for the price..
Anyone else seen any other sub-£100 units with the memory card slot feature, worth looking at?

he's a fussy fooka! LOL and he's well happy.. If you knew him, that would say it all! 
all the reports I've seen are very favourable - the only possible issue being compatibility with occasional USB memory sticks, but that's not really an issue IMO.. SD card interface appears to work fine.
I have seen it suggested that random play isn't actually completely random - that it plays the same random order every time! but i don't know if that's true or not..
total bargain at £75 IMO. i've got a £15 amazon voucher to use up - may just have to.. LOL
