I was supposed to be going to York tonight for Christmas with my girlfriend but i woke up this morning with the flu 
Hopefully il feel better tomorrow and i certainly dont want it for Christmas day! banging headache, joints aching and running nose

you have plenty of sympathy from me. if it really is flu then u shouldnt be able to move very far from your bed and you are unlikely to feel well enough to travel.
if your still doing bits and bobs but feeling real crap u have a heavy cold.

I remember last new year I was really really ill, never been as I as I was then, I Jacked myself up on beechams flu stuff and lemsips, took some flu tabs up the pub and got absolutely wrecked
