few questions........and a few more.....
What boost can a 200 block cossie take?
Does anyone use the liners Nikasi?? than Julian Godfrey uses on his rallycross engines?
does this mean i could take a worn 200 block add a set of liners and now it basically bullet proof??
how much am i looking at for a crank regrind ? and who?
can you use standard cossy rods for 500bhp?
Cheers

Standard rods will take well over 500bhp I remember Kev Sharp saying his old rods were rated to 680bhp. The crank can take around 700 but you want to change them before these levels for reliability. Oh and its spelt Nikasil I think.
Hope this helps.

Boost pressure is irrelivant really.
Its in-cyl pressure that counts, and 100psi boost on an engine with the compression low enough can easily have lower in-cyl pressures than a really high comp one running 10psi for example.

it wasnt mate nial is a mate of mine and told me all about it and im sure he said thay where standard cause i was after building a big power motor and he told me not to bother with an uprated crank or rods as the uprated rods are just lighter not much stronger
i could be wrong but im sure thats what he said

Neil a fuckin loony. Just looked on his website and its just lightened and balanced with stupidly low cosworth racing pistons.
Im interested with these KKK turbos what he used on his car one of his customers car.
