Quaife big tooth gearboxes.. why do they...

Is it the way that the teeth on the gears are cut? straight cut rather than not?
I might wrap it in googlebongs big yellow 'puffa' jacket to see if it silences it a tad!

Sorry Dave.... The Puffa was burnt in the garden by Billabongs wife and daughter one day when he was out.....

And I probably let the fat freak have it too cheap... but then after 7 days he'd killed the brand new clutch I'd just put in it and after 10 days he'd melted the engine doing a top speed challenge on the A1 at 2 in the morning.... bystanders said with the Ginger Boy in there it was like towing a Caravan... but Martin had nothing to worry about.... his record was safe

..... Fast Ford reckon it's more of a 'milk float' noise PMSL As an ex-RST owner myself, I can understand that it sounds similar to an RST gearbox about to expire
