Default Induction kit

Hi folks, would like your advice please, im thinking of taking the original airbox off my 3 door and either fitting a Ramair, or K+N would like your prefrences please. Secondly dont want to sound silly but, if i fit one of the above, would this effect the car in anyway. Reason i ask this is because, i had the car mapped only a month ago by Karl Norris, and i dont want to upset the running of the car in anyway, cus Karl has done a fantastic job. Any advice welcome cheers guys...........STAFFI.........

You tested that out on the road? Ie charge temp differences between an airbox and cone filter?

Right guys, i think i will leave well alone. Just another question, would i have needed the car mapping again, or would it be ok? reason for asking is because Karl mapped the car with the standard airbox...........
