I need advice selling a car.

The car is generally good and in nice condition.

I've put the car in the autotrader - as I thought would be as good a place as any and only really received couple of enquiries and sh:t loads of companies trying to get me to pay £80 because they have buyers waiting...

I know just before xmas is no doubt wrong time to advertise so that wont help...

had a guy enquire by text about the mileage and then by text again make an offer, which I didnt reject but said come look at the car and make an offer. no reply.

The car is out of tax at the end of the year and running out will be down to 6 months MOT. so im keen to get it sold before it becomes more difficut. I don't use the car and its only done 110 miles since the last MOT so I've got no chance of taxing it again now.

Can anyone offer any advice on selling as never sold a car before (usually just crash them, or they rust away or Ive still got them )

is ebay any good etc?

don't think ebay will be much better to be honest mate.

a mate of mine is having trouble selling his car, it's just the time of year.

you haven't got many options mate - all you can do is lower the price.

i was in the same boat couple months ago by beemer wouldnt sell for love nor money then i had a 2nd car to sell as well so it got a bit deperate. only option is to let it go cheap - its worth it rather than the hassle of MOT and tax again
