To get my car (sapph 4x4) back on the road a bit faster my dad volunteered to help out while i was away.

He rerouted some wires close to the pedal set.

This morning when i was gonna put back the cloth above the pedals i noticed this switch hanging and dangling.

My dad denies all involvment in it coming loose and i have no idea what it is and where is should be. Could it be the brake light switch or what is it?

My back is to bad to check for myself so thats why im asking on here.

Rob,
Mike,
No need, just offer to sit in the car when he wants to check the lights and press it with your finger
