12 hours to get home pmsl.

We left at 3.30pm and got home at 3.30am

What a funny weekend though.

Big thanks to stu ( the scout master) for being such a damn good host for the weekend.

Me and hay had an excellent time.

Right i am off to bed, sod it gunna have a day off tomorrow now lol.

Oh and a big sorry to lou lou and hay for getting them stuck with me at the side of the m6 in the freezing cold could not have asked for better company.

Yeah mate i had my suspitions but did not want to admit defeat lol. It bugged me that only five minuites earlier i had stopped to put some water in it and then it boils up, so i am thinking air lock because i know what a massive water system they have and how hard air locks can be on them.

But then when i actuallcy got it to the garage and could fill the header tank to full you could just see the gases in the water system and i stunck too.

Still chins up, hope the head is ok as i was watching the oil temp rise just before i pulled over and we all know how nasty boiled up oil can be for an engine

Still had an excellent weekend thanks to all that was there was a great weekend

Must admit that as i drove off up the motorway after stopping to bring you water, i had a slight chuckle to myself at your expense.

NOT at the fact you broke down of course, I wouldnt wish that anyone especially not you three and even less so on a motorway where its dangerous, but just at the irony of the fact that the night before you were waxing lyrical about the golf engine and how awesomely reliable it was

Tempted fate i reckon mate!

Bless the poor old golf 130,000 miles on the clock though so you can't really moan about, i think it could have been the 135 i did on the m6 toll that did'nt help the day before lol.

What a brilliant weekend

Firstly, i want to thank everyone for coming along, was great to see all the usual faces. But especially those that had a really long drive...Dan, LouLou, Dal, Hay, Radders, Chip, Jx, Helen & Dave, it was great to see you guys and i had such a great time, thanks to everyone for coming you guys really made my birthday
