im showing my ignorance here but here we go, ive just had yamaha r1 throttle bodies fitted to my rs6i and one of the guys in the forum suggested id benefit from a mappable ecu instead of the basic standard ecu im running, i could understand that if my ecu was controlling the ignition and the fuelling but mine just controls the ignition via a crank sensor so what would the benefit be ?, any advice or help would be much appreciated
