I think it's kinda cool, but looks heavy and the design is somewhat strange.
But it is one VERY fast car...

Shame its got a Metro engine in the back of it - all be it a 6R4 Metro.
I always thought it looked like it needed a diet but its plenty fast enough. Didnt Martin Brundle remove the cats on one and beat the current top speed record at the time or something?

It sold badly - for alot of reasons...one of which was that Tom Walkinshaw released that XJR15 thing jsut before the XJ220. It had a proper V12 (as was promised to the folks who put a deposit on the XJ220) and racing pedigree too.

Well yeah its still cool. Didnt they race it at Le Mans that year? Anyone remember if it won?

I was lucky enough to go around the "factory" in Bloxham, and get loadsa piccies of the press car J999 JAG.
I guess i could scan them in if peeps wanted to see em

horrible looking thing
did anyon here about he carpet shop that bought one in cardiff? well the bricked it in under a stairs as an investment!
the comapny went into liquidation, and the car was only found about a year ago,, everyone who knew had forgotten about it!

Very very nice car this.
The jag garage in luton had one in there showroom for the
dealers aniversary, so i thought id pop into have a look

I have been in the Jag 220 loads of time as we had to take all of the cars out on a run on trade plates every couple of months when i worked at browns lane 99 % of the museum cars ar runners
The last time we took it out some one busted reverse gear
