Default Jaguar XJ220, what do people think about it??

I think it's kinda cool, but looks heavy and the design is somewhat strange.
But it is one VERY fast car...

Shame its got a Metro engine in the back of it - all be it a 6R4 Metro.

I always thought it looked like it needed a diet but its plenty fast enough. Didnt Martin Brundle remove the cats on one and beat the current top speed record at the time or something?

It sold badly - for alot of reasons...one of which was that Tom Walkinshaw released that XJR15 thing jsut before the XJ220. It had a proper V12 (as was promised to the folks who put a deposit on the XJ220) and racing pedigree too.

I have been in the Jag 220 loads of time as we had to take all of the cars out on a run on trade plates every couple of months when i worked at browns lane 99 % of the museum cars ar runners
The last time we took it out some one busted reverse gear
Quite a quick car
But the back of your head allways got a suntan.

Class car with true 90's OTT style. Shame the brakes were so crap
