i just want one that you don't have to top up £10 each month, just one that you can top-up as and when you like, with 10p texts and normal rates ect......

Go to an O2 shop and get an 'offline' card. They're a fiver each at the mo. 10p texts, none free, but no minimum top up.

That said you could always pay ten quid for one and get the free texts. If you don't top up a tenner a month it still works, you just don't get the free ones.

Just a thought.

uknow u dont HAVE to top up every month with the o2 sim u just have to do it to get ur 300 txts, so at the end of te 30 days and u havent used the £10 cred u got u can use that for the followin month, and if it runs out in a week or so u can just top up and u'll get the free txts and cred. only downside is makin a call on its something silly like 50p a min, but if u make alot of fone calls on it then u should b lookin at a contract fone anyway cops NO pay as u go deal will b cheap on calls.

Taken from a sim card i got today (free)

You must top-up atleast £10 each month to activate your phone again

Is this a scam or will it work?

I'm pretty sure that you have to top up with £10 to start with then its just a case of top up when needed.

I have one at home that I havent used for about 4 months. Will shove it in a phone later and let you know.
