The only problem is, a lot of people have barely enough to pay the motgage, have a car that works, and put food on the table.
They save as best they can, but that might not stop people being made redundant tomorrow, hence nobody's earnings are guaranteed. I thought your IFA would have made that perfectly clear to you
A basic of Ł20K will keep a family if you are very careful with your money, if your actually earning that with 150% bnous most of the time then I am sure your can put a few quid away from the normal Ł50K a year you earn. If you make no provision to do so then your a fool. If however you only earn Ł12K WITH bonuses a year then agreed there is probably no way you can save and plan for a bad year.

Uni's a great laugh. Don't feel sorry for her Was very sad to see PVD go under after all her hard work though.
