split rim painting?
Thinking of painting my polished rims as im sick polishing them!
A/ what do you guys think of anthracite colour and
B/has anyone taken apart split rims before, how is it done apart from the obvious?

def look good anthracite but be careful taking them apart, think they might be pressed together as well as bolted. My mate took out all the bolts on his RX7 wheels but couldn't get them apart.

a lot of them arent actually split rims just fake bolts. also if they are split they will be out of balance when you take them apart an put back together

right first thing, they are split rims but you carnt take them apart because they are welded all around the two bits, so you will have to get them painted as they are.
Yours do look but i do like mine better and yes you did have your first but mine took about a year to get

Mine look quite bad at mo duncan went into gravel trap last time out and stones chipped the stainless rim on the two wheels passenger side ,
Yours do look quite nice in that colour and are probably easy to keep. I might have to , as justin says buy a set of leggras for track days!
