Default FAO Rally Slags - Quick Release Turbo?

I remember someone (possibly Markk) posting pics of an exhaust housing that had been machined so you could remove it without needing to fully remove all the bolts.

I don't suppose anyone has them, or even better, measurements etc?

Cheers guys

So to remove, you only need to remove the front outboard (furthest from the head) bolt, and loosen the other 3 nuts.

Markk - thanks for the offer, I should be OK with PON's pic. I'll have a look at my turbo tonight and see if my mate can machine it

Does it make removing / fitting the turbo much easier, or is it academic (in a nice warm garage situation, not a rally service area )

Halfords do some angled ratchet spanners with pivots at the head. Might be just the job!

Father Christmas is bringing me some

I got my hopes up then, as I am desperately trying to get the other parts for the quick release set-up that attaches to the down-pipe.

Does anyone know anyone who has the exhaust part and V-band clamp for this?

Cheers Cam, I want to exhaust all UK options first, as getting stuff (especially custom made) from the States, can be a bit hit or miss .

Sibster,
Yes it is . I have got the front part, and a half reasonable v-band, just need the down-pipe part. Can you help?

Mike,

I'll have a look when I get back home later....can you measure the diameter of the adapter where it meets the downpipe....

Regards

Ian

I would just like to thank Sibster for sourcing me the required 909 parts for the quick release mechanism that I was look for .

Any 909 parts you require - he is your man, he either has them or knows a man who does .
