Well pleased with myself, nearly spunked the money on a S2 but so glad I didn't!

me an my partner just bought our first house. we having our first child at end of january so i wanted to do up whole house b4 christmas. got the keys on 13th of october, so far i personally have fitted a new kitchen, whole new bathroom, new doors, skirtings, facings etc through out, all completely decorated, furnished, new plasma fire with remote control etc, just in process of finishing second bedroom and thats whole house done and dusted. spent best part of 7k in as many weeks. its amazing how things change in life!! my fire cost about the same as a new t4 turbo, kitchen about same as a saph cos etc. i wouldnt change it for the world.

awesome way to live to be fair mate,your only here once,no dress rehersal,worship the ground my ex walked on but she still left me,so i baught an ex works car and went rallying,met fantastic girl who is so special and understands my rallying (how rare!!!!!?).and now have a rather exotic escort sat in my workshop and a rather tasty house,start young and its all worth while,good luck mate.

Got my first house when i was 21

3 bedroom link detached.

Cost 60k in 1992, 20k deposit + 40k mortgage.

Now got a 4 bed detached house with a double garage and a 100k mortgage.

Best thing i done when i was younger, saving that money rather than blowing it all on cars

Would not have the house i have not got now.

Now i blow money on cars, and they are cheaper to insure because im now older

Its the best thing/feeling to have a new place, if it wasnt so fucking expensive around here id have bought my own house, its just tht shit box 2bed flats around here are going for around160-180k FFS...

So ive been saving the last few yrs and now getting on with building my own house, plans are in atm... Fingers XXXXXxxxxxXXXXX
