Default Evo 5`s Cars whats your opinion on them?

I am looking at a couple of Evo5`s for sale and just wanted opinions from knowledgeable people on the running costs, ie servicing, mpg, reliability and any known issues.

Also is the Evo 6 any different or is it merely a face lift model type of thing?

As you can see from my siggy i have an 8, so quite different to 5/6's but i beleive that the running costs are still quite high and the fuel consumption will be quite high, they are not cheap cars to run but it's probably best you know that first,

AJ has a 6 and is far better educated on it then i am and Steven RW also had a 6 granted they are/were TME

Hope this helps to some degree

Jock cheers for the info, As reguard running costs I mean servicing.. seen a car that has had services every 3000 miles and just wondered is this the norm. Wondered also how much it costs to fill the tank and rougly how many miles you would get from it.

Servicing is every 4500miles and can cost alot or very little the exsepnsive part is the diff oils, the garages quote circa 250 pounds but it can be done quite a bit cheap if you hunt around,

The fuel tank i believe is 45ltr's maybe 50ltr's if drivern sensibly they drink full but not at an alarming rate, if thrashed they devour the stuff, 65kn to half a tank on mine but that was bulls to the wall, the newer ones have 6 spd boxs so can be fairly decent on a run but they are never going to be great on fuel for the power they deliver,

No disrespect to Jock but I prefer the look of the 5's and 6's over the 7,8,9!
