Getting the wank aerial removed out of my rear wing and need to replace the aerial lead that goes from the Radio to the rear window does the lead go up in the roof lining or along the floor???

I've seen them fitted in both the above ways best of just having a look from the centre consol and trace lead to see if it goes up through the front/back pillars or down under the carpet etc!

standard they run from the radio up the a-pillar and along the roof and down the c-pillar - but they don't normally have an aerial, they are connected to a box that uses the rear window heating element as an aerial. so maybe yours is an after bodge and the cable could run anywhere

Some fooker that owned the car before me did fit a nasty aerial in the back wing.
cars just about to go off to the bodyshop to have a bit off paint here and there also getting aerial removed plated up filled and painted.

Got a new lead and box to fit

fittting the lead from A piller to c piller sounds a nightmare job to fit anyone done it if so whats the easyest way?

i've done it

i have completely re - loomed a shell before, but in taking out the old loom, i pulled through a cable by taping it on to the end. then to refit, you just tape onto the end of the new one and pull it back through.
